Week 17

How big is the baby:  Baby is as big as a turnip! I had no idea what a turnip was. So I looked it up. It's this thingy! Who knew! Well I'm sure plenty of you did. But I totally didn't. And that looks really big, but my little app said Baby is as big as my palm. So. uhm, maybe?  Anyway, here is a picture

 of a turnip. Just because.

Weight Gain/Loss:  I have absolutely no idea. But I feel like a gigantic whale. Not really, but I do feel rather large today in the stomach area...

Cravings:  Coke. Caffeine free of course. But, I have to watch myself I could drink it all day long!  

Food Aversions:  Still beef. Actually, any meat is just not satisfactory. 

People's Comments:  None! I haven't exactly left the house to get people's comments. 

General Mood:  Finally getting that second trimester boost of energy, albeit it's not a lot. And I can't do much because my feet and hands are swelling up. I've gotten A LOT of the house clean. So now I can start working on some sewing projects. Especially when said projects have to do with maternity clothing. I need those now. My pants are waaaayyy too tight up top.   

Fears:  To be honest, I'm scared to be disappointed when T and I find out the gender. I KNOW I am okay with either gender. I really am! But what if when we find out, THAT'S when I realize I wanted a specific gender? I'm horrible!     

Things I was surprised by:  How much household work wears me out. And that I had to take my ring off because my fingers are too swollen. That one surprised me just because I didn't think that would happen for a while. 

Things I am most looking forward to:  Finding out the gender. Only 4 more days! I can't wait for baby to kick and T can feel him/her! (Can't wait to be able to just put him. Or her. )

What I think is Cool/Crazy so far:  I FELT A NUDGE!!!!!! Yay!! Not a full on kick just yet, but definitely a nudge. More than a flutter. Yay!!

Stretch Marks:  None more than the usual. They are so dark though. ): 

Maternity Clothes:  I probably could. But I haven't. :P 

Showing:  Yes, most definitely. I looooove it!!

Movement:  Just little flutters. And a nudge!!! A couple of nudges.  

Gender:  We will know in FOUR days! :D 

Innie or Outie: Innie still! :D <3

I catch myself talking to my belly when I'm alone. And when I'm not. 

I probably sound crazy!!

Week 16

So much has happened. 

Sorry I didn't update yesterday. 

Which was the actual day I was 16 weeks. 

But I was so exhausted.

Apparently cleaning the kitchen while pregnant takes EVERYTHING out of you. 

Anyway! BIG WEEK!!

So. First. Both T and I LOVE Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".

And we found a Baby Journal and we found a tiny version of the book. 

We are in love! 

Second is....WE HAVE A GENDER OR "ANATOMY" APPOINTMENT SET UP!!!

So excited!! (Keep reading for the appointment.)

So, lets get to the awesomeness of the 16 week update!

Week 16

I know it's not the best picture quality. But it is DEF one of my favorite pictures!!

How big is the baby: An Avocado! (4-5 in, 3-5 oz)

Weight Gain/Loss: I look like lost I've lost weight. But At my appointment on Monday, I was back up to my starting weight! Yay!

Cravings: I finally had my hotdog!! It was awesome. Last night actually. Yummy! 

Food Aversions: Beef. Beef. Beef. Ewey all day long!!

People's Comments: Honestly, nothing so far. Although my old boss did put her hands on my belly....that was a first..

General Mood: Tired. But pretty excited as well!  

Fears: The only fear I have right now is, nothing. More like worries.    

Things I was surprised by:  How much hearing my little peanut's heartbeat on Monday helped me. It's hard going a month without knowing anything. And until my little babe starts kicking...well... 

Things I am most looking forward to:  Finding out the gender. And baby kicks!!! :D

What I think is Cool/Crazy so far:  The flutters are getting more and more frequent! <3

Stretch Marks:  My thighs. But not too bad I don't guess.  

Maternity Clothes: Nope! But things are getting tiiiiiiiiiggghhhtttt. 

Showing:  Yes. Definitely. 

Movement:  Just little flutters. 

Gender:  Our gender appointment is, Drum Roll Please, JUNE 27 @ 1PM!!!!!! Yay!!!

Centering

T and I decided to do a group thing on base called Centering.

It's for a group of pregnant ladies (and their spouses if they so choose) where we meet once a month and all of these lovely ladies are around the same due date. 

So somewhere in December for us.

Today was our first time all meeting.

It was so awkward to say the least.

But then, it was actually really informational and had a lot of cool people.

At least this way you get more appointments and you get to hear the adorable little heartbeat!!

I heard ours today, 150! 

It was so cool! 

Plus the midwife was AWESOME.

So, it's a little strange to share my appointment with, eh, roughly 10-15 other women.

But it's kind of a cool experience too. 

I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow. 

Only 4 more weeks till we know the gender.

Time is FLYING by!

Next Tuesday ill be 16 weeks. And our midwife said we would be having our anatomy appointment sometime between 16 and 20 weeks.

I can barely conceal my excitement!! I'm pretty sure we will be scheduling the anatomy apt on Monday!!

Crazy Dreams

So, last night I had a crazy dream. 

Seems like lately, I have dreams all the time and they are vivid and weird.

But last night, I remember holding a baby girl. 

Wearing a pink onesie and I could not get her to stop crying.

And you know how in your dreams you already know the back story?

Well, I had already known that I had tried everything to make her stop crying.

And then in the dream. It hit me. 

The most awful smell.

And just as I was about to check her diaper. 

It exploded.

And blew up in my face.

And scared me so bad it woke me up.

So yeah. 

I had a crazy dream. :P

Week 15

I would upload a picture of my belly but honestly it hasn't changed much. :D

How big is the baby: A navel Orange! And the baby is growing so much!

Weight Gain/Loss: I look lost I've lost weight. I haven't had much of an appetite. 

Cravings: I need a hot dog. But I can't have a hot dog.  (:

Food Aversions: Beef. Meat. But mostly just beef. That stuff makes my eyes water, and not in a good way. 

People's Comments: "Let me see that belly!!" 

General Mood: Tired. Exhausted. Tired some more.  

Fears: That we will find out the gender, and then it will be wrong!   

Things I was surprised by:  Bloating makes me think I'm bigger than I am. 

Things I am most looking forward to:  Finding out the gender in the next few weeks!! :D

What I think is Cool/Crazy so far: Sometimes I feel a flutter!!!

Stretch Marks:  My thighs! So annoying! 

Maternity Clothes: Nope! Not yet! 

Showing: A little. If I eat then I have a baby/food bump. :P

Movement:  Just little flutters.

Week 14--Second Trimester

How big is the baby: Lil Beasty is the size of a lemon this week! 

Weight Gain/Loss: Honestly, I have no idea lol

Cravings: Froyo! Babes and I had a mini date to get some! 

Food Aversions: Nothing!(:

People's Comments: People just keep asking about the gender so far. I don't know! :P

General Mood: So so so happy! i was having some pretty intense mood swings but now I'm just happy happy happy. :D 

Fears: No fears! Worries, yes. lol.  

Things I was surprised by: How hard it is to buy gender neutral things for the baby. Little things, but still. 

Things I am most looking forward to: Our next appointment is June 15th, RIGHT after my birthday. Yay! We will be so close to finding out the gender! 

What I think is Cool/Crazy so far: Stomach muscle twitches!!!

Stretch Marks: On my thighs, which is weird. 

Maternity Clothes: Nope! But my clothes are getting tighter and tighter...and tighter and tighter..

Showing: Yes! I'm not putting up a picture this week because it's only a little bigger than last week. 

Movement: Muscle twitches...hehe 

Gender: We don't know yet, but yes, we plan on finding out. 

Innie or Outie: Neither obviously lol
